Carpet Cleaning & Fiber Protection
People choose carpets for their homes because of their many benefits. Carpets are warm and cozy and come in almost any color to match any room. Some other great benefits of carpets are that they absorb noise, are less slippery than hardwood floors, and are budget-friendly.
While carpeting is an excellent choice for any home, there are some things you need to consider. Carpets can hold onto dirt, debris, odors, mites, and bacteria that regular vacuuming can't eliminate. Dirty carpets wear out easily and look old beyond their time, especially in high-traffic areas. The best way to maintain your carpets, keep them looking their best, and protect your family's health is to partner with a carpet cleaning professional. Professionals will perform the thorough cleanings necessary to maintain your carpets.
In addition to helping you keep the grout in your Prescott home looking its best, we can also protect its fiber surfaces. Upholstered furniture, rugs, and curtains can look like new longer when protected by a material that will stop the fibers from attracting and absorbing stains, dirt, and odors. Don't hesitate to reach out for information about our tile grout cleaning service and our grout sealing and fiber-protecting services. We are here to help you maintain your Prescott home and keep its surfaces looking their best!
Our Carpet Cleaning Process
We start with our prep work. After getting all of our equipment set up, we go through all the areas we are cleaning and pre-treat with our green-label products to help suspend the soil to the surface. We let the pre-treatment dwell between 5-10 minutes to ensure that the solvent detaches any soil and oil from the fibers for extraction. During the dwell period, we will agitate the fibers with either a fiber rake or a brushing machine to help scrub the fibers to further remove any contaminants that are further down towards the backing and padding of the carpet.
Once the dwell time is completed, we rinse all the waste out of the carpet using 220+ degree water which completely breaks down all the solvents we initially sprayed down, allowing for a residue-free outcome. We turn all the fans on after we complete each area we clean. If you add protectant services, we finish cleaning all the carpet before applying the protectant, which we spray down as a mist that soaks into the fibers and bonds as the water evaporates. Our dry times after each area is complete average between 4-8 hours with ample airflow.
Professional carpet cleaners know the best products, how to use the products, and how to successfully clean your carpets. Tile Grout Cleaning & Grout Sealing
Tile is the material of choice in bathrooms and kitchens for many homeowners. Tile is durable, sustainable, green, hypoallergenic, and easy to wipe down. Though the benefits of tile are many, there is necessary maintenance required. The grout that finishes off a tile job is a natural, porous material; over time, it will darken and stain.
To keep your tile's grout looking its best, it is important to partner with a professional that can perform a thorough cleaning and sealing service. Sealing your tile's grout will help protect it from natural deterioration and from absorbing dirt, mold, bacteria, and other unpleasantries. Here at Truly Green Carpet Cleaning, we can help you maintain your tile and improve its longevity.
Our Tile Cleaning Process
After prepping and getting all of our equipment set up, we go through all the areas we are cleaning and pre-treat with our green-label products to help suspend the soil and break down any oil or mopping residue on the surface and soak into the grout lines. We let that treatment dwell for 5-10 minutes, during which time we go over the tile and grout with either a hand tool scrubber or our scrubbing machine, which breaks apart the heavier buildup that may not come off during our extraction.
Once the dwell time is completed, we rinse all of the tile/grout with our extraction tool that sprays our 220+ degree water between 900-1200 PSI, cutting through buildup like a knife. We turn fans on as we finish areas, and once the rinsing is complete, we go back over with a dry mop to soak up any excess water still present on the surface. If grout sealing is added to the service, we will go down each grout line individually with our sealant spray to ensure an even coating. Once applied, it will air dry and be unnoticeable after 20 minutes, but we ask for no moisture to be re-introduced for 24 hours for the best lasting effect.
Warm, cozy upholstered furniture helps to make a house into a home and is where your family spends a lot of its time. More than likely, your home's upholstered furniture is where we enjoy movie nights, family gatherings, and holidays. The constant use of your furniture means that it is subject to a lot of wear and tear. One way to keep upholstered furniture looking its best is with regular cleaning performed by an experienced professional.
Professional upholstery cleaning provides many benefits, including:
- Removing odors that have settled deep into the fabrics.
- Saving money. Upholstered furniture is expensive, and extending its life will save you money in the long run.
- Bettering the appearance of your furniture. Proper cleaning using the right equipment will remove the dirt that causes the furniture to become dull, along with removing stubborn stains.
Furthermore, professional upholstery cleaning will save you time. Trying to clean upholstered furniture is a tedious task. Let the professionals handle cleaning your furniture so you can spend your valuable time elsewhere!
Our Upholstery Cleaning Process
To begin upholstery cleaning, we spray our pre-treatment over the fibers, allowing it to soak in and break down any dirt, dander, or oil inside the padding, which then moves to the surface. During the 5-10 minutes of dwell time, we scrub the fibers with a hand brush, helping suspend the soil to the surface for extraction.
After the dwell time is complete, we will rinse the furniture with our handheld tool that uses 220+ degree water, ensuring a thorough clean. Once complete, we turn fans on to allow the dry time to be expedited, taking between 1-3 hours to dry. If protectant is added to the service, we finish cleaning all the carpet before applying the protectant, which we spray down as a mist that soaks into the fibers and bonds as the water evaporates.

Our pets are part of our family, and we love sharing our homes and hearts with them. Yet, with all the benefits that pet ownership offers, there are some unpleasantries, like the stains and odors they create, you just can't seem to eliminate. Luckily, with the help of an experienced professional, you can own pets and have a fresh-smelling, stain-free home.
The best way to clean away natural odors and stains from your fluffy family members is with a pet biological. Biological cleaners work with the help of beneficial bacteria that produce enzymes that feed on and break down waste and stains. The enzymes feed until the food is gone, eliminating your home of stains and odors that pets produce.
Our Pet Biological/Odor Removal Process
The first step to identifying any pet issue is to take a UV light and try and get the areas of concern as dark as possible so we can notate where each individual spot is. After we find all of the sites, we treat each area with our enzyme treatment, saturating each spot while evenly coating the rest of the surface area.
Unlike our normal pre-treatment, we HAVE to let this dwell for a minimum of 30 minutes. During this dwell time, we will agitate spots with our brushes to help the solution work its way deep into the fibers, into the backing and pad. After the minimum dwell time, we will extract the solution and the contaminates, turning fans on once we finish cleaning.
Dry time tends to be longer due to the amount of moisture we have to introduce to break down the bacteria in biological issues properly. The dry time usually takes between 6-12 hours. If there are heavily saturated areas, we have another service called a sub-extraction that attacks these areas individually. We pour hot water directly onto these spots to reactivate the biological areas, then take a small extraction tool to suck up all the moisture.
After the initial rinse, we pour a heavy concentrate of the enzyme onto that spot, spread it to cover the entirety of the spot, and allow it to soak all the way down to the subfloor. Then we take that same tool and extract the enzyme while rinsing to ensure all biological bacteria and enzymes have been removed. Once we finish that step, we clean the rest of the area and turn fans on to help the dry time stay as quick as possible.
If you are dealing with tough pet stains and odors in your home, our professionals can help. No stain or odor is too tough for our professionals or pet biological products! Please call today to learn more about our pet biological cleaning services or to schedule an estimate.
In-Home Area Rug
Area rugs are great for many reasons, including adding warmth, a splash of color or style, and reducing noise in your home. But like wall-to-wall carpets, area rugs will become dirty, stained, and hold onto odors, allergens, and bacteria over time. There will come a time when vacuuming or spot cleaning no longer gets the job done. The most effective way to thoroughly clean area rugs and make them look new is to reach out to a professional.
Having clean area rugs in your home shouldn't be a hassle, and with our in-home area rug cleaning service, it won't be! With our help maintaining your home's area rugs couldn't be simpler! Gone are the days when you had to roll up area rugs, remove them from your home, and transport them to a cleaning facility. Hiring a professional to come into your home to clean its area rugs is as effective as it is convenient.
Our In-Home Area Rug Cleaning Process
The first thing we do when cleaning rugs in the home is to verify what type of fiber we are cleaning. If it is a standard synthetic fiber, we spray our standard pre-treatment onto the rug and let it dwell between 5-10 minutes. Depending on the thickness of the pile of the rug, we may agitate with our fiber rake to help the treatment soak in deeper.
We then rinse and extract using the same methods as cleaning carpet. If the fiber is natural, such as wool, we first check for color bleeding on common colors to ensure we can clean the rug without causing the colors to run out of their pockets. If no color bleeding occurs, we pre-treat using a different treatment designed to clean the natural fibers without damaging them. Natural fibers will break down if agitated too much, so we do not agitate them during the dwell time. Unlike carpet, we will only be able to use cold water to extract to ensure there is no color bleed or fiber damage during the rinsing.
We also do extra dry strokes, which will help remove as much moisture as possible to help the rug dry as quickly as possible. During the dry stroke step, we always try and groom the fibers the way they naturally sit to prevent fiber reversal. In-home area rug cleaning can be done on any surface in the home due to the moisture not penetrating past the fibers; therefore, there is no worry about the floor underneath the rug getting damaged during the cleaning or dry time.
Here at Truly Green Carpet Cleaning, we are excited and committed to helping you maintain your Prescott home's area rugs. Don't live another day with dull area rugs; call us and schedule an in-home professional carpet cleaning. Partner with us, and your home's area rugs will always be clean, fresh, and free of stubborn stains.
Natural Stone Cleaning
Natural stone is beautiful in our Prescott home's kitchen, bathrooms, and entryways. Not only is it pleasing to the eye, but if it is taken care of correctly, it wears well and lasts a long time. Because natural stone is a porous material, regular cleaning and sealing is the best way to avoid stains, discoloration, and other damage.
Natural stone can seem intimidating, but the reality is that it is easy to care for if you know what you are doing or, better yet, by partnering with a professional. Some of the most significant benefits of a professional helping you care for your natural stone are listed below:
- Professionals are efficient at what they do and will get the job done in a fraction of the time it would take you to complete it.
- Professionals have the products necessary to complete a deep clean and remove stubborn stains and imperfections without causing damage to the natural stone.
- Professionals can apply a beneficial protective sealant to protect your home's natural stone in the future.
In addition, partnering with a professional will help you learn how to more effectively care for your stone and place you on a regular service to ensure the lifetime of your natural stone.
Our Natural Stone Cleaning & Sealing Process
We always identify what type of stone we are cleaning. We can clean granite, slate, and travertine stone, whether on the floor or countertops. Once we identify the stone, we will either use our standard treatment or utilize our stone cleaning solvent.
After spraying the solvent, we will agitate using our bristled machine or hand brush. Then we extract contaminants using our 220+ degree water, between 800-1000 PSI, before turning fans on to help dry time speed up. We will also wipe or mop up any excess moisture still on the surface.
Unlike synthetic tile, you must seal the stone after cleaning to keep it from being extremely porous. If the stone is not sealed, it will absorb all the dirt and bacteria that touches it, causing it to get dirtier and discolored quickly. In order to seal the stone, we will pour our impregnating sealer over the surface and then evenly spread it out in small areas to ensure complete coverage. We watch to see how quickly the sealer is absorbed and may need to reapply the sealer again to make sure the pores are fully filled. Once we have determined that the stone is adequately sealed, we will mop off any excess and ask that we allow it to set for 20 minutes before being walked on and to wait 24 hours before re-introducing any moisture back to the surface.
